George Kousournas was born in Rhodes in 1982. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens in 2006. He pursued his Residency Training at the 1st University Urology Department of the Laiko General Hospital in 2016. His fields of interest include Andrology (Erectile Dysfunction, Fertility Disorders, Ejaculation Disorders), Reconstructive and Prosthetic Urology (Penile Prosthesis, Continence Restoration Devices, Urethroplasty) and Functional Urology. He holds an MSc in Health Unit Management, and the title of Fellow of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine (FECSM). He is a PhD candidate of the University of Athens. He has participated in a great number of Greek and Ιnternational Conferences and Specialty Training Programs in Surgical Andrology and Reconstructive Urology, and has been awarded for his scientific works on a national level. He has participated in many Conferences as an Invited Speaker, and has authored articles in Greek & foreign scientific journals, and chapters in Urology books.
Since 2016, he has been a Scientific Associate of the 1st University Urology Department of the Laiko General Hospital in Athens, as well as of the Functional Urology, Reconstructive Urology and Andrology Clinics. He also works as a private medical doctor specializing in Reconstructive Urology and Andrology.
He is a Member of many international (EAU, ESGURS, ICS, ESSM, ISSM) and Greek Scientific Societies (EOE, ONOGO, MAN, EOGGEC).
